Littleton Auto Repair Tips: Why ASE-Certified Technicians Matter
Posted September 19, 2013
If you were a football coach, you wouldn’t get someone off the street to be your quarterback. You would find someone with the experience and knowhow to help you succeed.
The same applies to automotive repair. You wouldnt take your vehicle to a random auto repair shop near Aurora when there’s a problem with your vehicle. You’d take it to a reputable shop that employs proven technicians with the experience and knowledge to get the job done quickly and efficiently.
But how do you know when a shop has quality technicians?
That’s where the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence comes in.
The ASE, or Automotive Service Excellence Program, was established in 1972 to improve the repairs and service of auto shops across the country.
When an auto repair facility near Parker like ours is ASE-Certified, it means their technicians passed the rigorous testing standards set forth by the program and have a minimum 2 years of experience working in a reputable shop. These tests are known to be quite difficult as only 1 in 3 technicians pass them on the first try!
When the technician passes the test, they’re not certified for life. Those with ASE credentials must retake the test every five years to retain their certification, just to make sure they’re up-to-date on all the latest in auto repair.
When a repair facility is ASE-Certified, it’s a win-win situation for the shop AND the customer. Consumers can rest easy knowing the best in the business are working on their vehicle, and the shop benefits from employing some of the most knowledgeable technicians in the nation.
As an ASE-Certified shop, we’re proud to have the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence displayed in our window. For more information or to set up an appointment with one of our top-notch technicians, stop by or call Keller Bros. at (303) 347-1010.
