Fall Festivities in Littleton and Denver

Posted October 13, 2015

Looking for some family fun this fall? We’ve compiled this list of pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and Halloween festivities to help you find the best local choice for your family!

May Farms Harvest Fest – Just East of Denver and packed with activities for families of all ages. $10 admission charge gets you access to a corn maze, hay rides, barrel train, open barnyard, pumpkin cannon, pumpkin patch, food & drinks and topped off with free parking! This might not be the closest place to snag a pumpkin but it might just be the best.

Chattfield Botanical Gardens Corn Maze – Littleton boasts a great corn maze held at the Chatfield Botanical Gardens. Tickets include one hayride, barrel train ride (for 12 and under), unlimited jumpin on a giant pillow. There are also pony rides, hamster balls and a spread of food available for an additional cost. $13 for an adult and $10 for kiddos.

13th Floor Haunted House – Looking for a more mature activity this season? You will want to check out Denver’s largest haunted house. “Legends and nightmares alike will come to life at the 13th Floor: Denver’s legendary haunted house, a gut-wrenching ride to untold nightmares 13 floors straight down!” $25.99 gets you in!

Rock Creek Farm – One more stop for all ages fun this season. North of Denver Rock Creek Farm features Corn Mazes, farm animals, U-Pick-Em pumpkins. They also have blow-up inflatables with a supersize slide and picnic tables to dine as a family. Pay for the activities you choose, and find a complete pricing list on their website.

Don’t like any of the options above? If none of these choices are quite right for your fall festivities, head over to your local grocery store to pick up a pumpkin and have a carving party at home. There are tons of Halloween themed treats and movies to enjoy from the comfort of your own home without hitting the road.
